明德观点

对于组织员工的管理而言,特别是在人力资源开发方面,是弥补员工短板呢,还是对员工的优势进行干预,即识别、开发和使用员工的优势?

资源基础论指出,人力资源是组织获取竞争优势的源泉,尤其是人力资源所表现出的价值性、稀缺性、难以替代性和不可模仿性为组织保持可持续竞争优势奠定扎实的基础。因此,组织中的人力资源管理工作显得尤为重要。

过去,人力资源管理更多的看法是强调弥补员工短板,其理论基础是“木桶原理”,意味着只有弥补员工的弱点才能促使员工并表现出更好的绩效。但是,随着竞争市场的日益激烈,以及“共享时代”和“快速变革时代”的到来,补短板日渐不能促使个体或组织适应快速变化的市场环境,即使搭上“共享经济”的便车,快速培养出某一技能,但这并不能使其获得可持续的竞争优势。
